The vast majority of justice-involved youth have experienced significant trauma, mental health challenges, substance abuse, or learning disabilities. Without appropriate support, recidivism rates are extremely high. Addressing root mental health causes dramatically improves outcomes.
We partner with juvenile probation departments, youth detention facilities, defense attorneys, and court-appointed service coordinators to provide reentry support as a condition of supervision or voluntarily.
Yes, though it is offered as a resource, not a requirement. Many justice-involved youth have experienced spiritual crisis, and reconnecting with faith often provides powerful identity transformation and community accountability.
Family involvement is a critical component of successful reentry. Ikon Kids provides family counseling, parent coaching, and facilitated family reconciliation sessions alongside individual youth programming.
We work with youth regardless of family support level. For youth without supportive families, we connect them with mentorship, community support, and pro-social peer relationships.
Sessions are confidential within HIPAA limits. Court-mandated reporting requirements are explained clearly at intake. We are advocates for youth, not informants.
Every child and family deserves care, hope, and healing. Ikon Kids is here.
